About Book Gawker:
Have you ever stood in the aisle of the book store scanning
shelf after shelf for a new book to read? How about scrolled through the
thousands of titles on Amazon? Or wandered aimlessly through your library
wondering, “Which one do I pick today?” If you’ve answered yes to any of these
questions, welcome to my world fellow book gawker. We are those who gawk at
books, burning our precious hours flipping through their pages.
My hope is that when you have the question, “What should I
read next?” I’ll be able to help you. Book Gawker is a compilation of personal
reviews of books that I have read, books that I’m hoping to read and suggested
titles of books that may interest you based on books that I’ve read. Basically
I’m Goodreads, but a person.
